TipS for not hearing “I’m Bored!”

There is no reason to hear “I’m bored!” this summer.

The key to summer fun is being prepared. Summer days are long. Be sure to keep a few crafts on hand so the TV and tablet are not used for easy entertainment.  Keep it simple. Here are all the crafts you can make with supplies in your pantry. (I made a free printable chart for the pantry door).

Make sure to keep things on hand for independent play like coloring pages, markers, and crayons. Keep cardboard tubes, and cereal boxes, etc for kids to build robots and sculptures.
