    Easy Banana Bread

    Posted by  ·  March 3, 2015

This quick and easy banana bread starts with a cake mix! It is oh so moist and delicious. Cake mixes can be the perfect start to so many yummy treats. Some of my favorite cake mix recipes are these snickerdoodle cookies,  this lemon cake or try making the easiest sugar cookies you will ever make!

    Easy Banana Bread

1 yellow cake mix without pudding
1 (3.4 ounce) box of instant banana pudding
    1 cup water
    4 eggs
    1/4 cup vegetable oil
    3 ripe bananas, mashed
    1 teaspoon vanilla

In a mixing bowl beat eggs with a mixer until pale and thick. Add in cake mix, pudding, oil and water and mix well. Fold in mashed bananas. Pour batter into two medium sized loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 – 60 mins or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

I never thought of trying a cake mix and turning out banana bread.
I usually add nuts to mine, but can't wait to try this.
Thanks for sharing. I really enjoy reading through your website.

The recipe for Easy Banana Bread says to "mix the eggs" but eggs are not listed in the ingredients! Please tell me how many eggs to use.

Not dumb at all Martha, I left it out so sorry! It is 4 eggs.

Looks yummy. This is probably a dumb question but how many eggs? Or is it according to the cake mix package?
      • Tuesday, March 3rd, 2015
Sorry Ann, left it out. Use 4 eggs.

if you use a CAKE mix,you will have a banana CAKE,not banana BREAD.
      • Tuesday, March 3rd, 2015
Well the cake mix just supplies the flour, sugar and leavening.... already measured out ready to go. So really it is very similar to my banana bread recipes.
