Ingredients Needed for Peach Bread
- sugar
- eggs
- oil
- flour
- cinnamon
- baking soda
- baking powder
- vanilla extract
- walnuts (optional)
- peach baby food (secret ingredient)
Yes! This recipe uses baby food to make it extra moist, delicious, and super peachy!
How to make Peach Bread
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare pans by spraying cooking spray. In mixing bowl, mix sugar, eggs, oil, baby peaches and vanilla until blended.
(Having all your ingredients at room temperature makes combining so much easier!)
2. Into the wet ingredients add in flour, cinnamon, baking soda and baking powder. Mix until just combined.
3. Add 1/2 cup of your choice of nuts if using. This peach quick bread is delicious with or without nuts.
4. Pour peach bread batter into two loaf pans sprayed with cooking spray.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes until a knife Inserted in the center comes out clean.
6. Cool in the pans on a wire rack and remove from pans to slice and serve.

- 1 Cup Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 Cup Oil
- 4 Jars Peach Baby Food
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1 TSP Cinnamon
- 1 TSP Baking Soda
- 1 TSP Baking Powder
- 1 TSP Vanilla
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts Optional
Instructions

In mixing bowl, mix sugar, eggs, oil, baby peaches and vanilla until blended. Next add in flour, cinnamon, baking soda and baking powder. Mix until just combined.

Pour into two loaf pans sprayed with cooking spray.

Really…baby food peaches? Never would have thought it but sure am going to try it! Fresh fruits are so expensive I can hardly afford them so I can’t buy them often but love the fruit breads and muffins. If this works…you have me addicted to baby food fruits for my baking! Thanks!

I have a carrot cake recipe that uses baby food carrots that I’ve used for over 30 years. It’s still the best carrot cake that I’ve ever had, but in all those years I never thought of using baby food in other recipes. I can’t wait to try this!
