How to Draw a Tree

Follow these easy steps to draw a simple tree.

Step 1: Draw the Trunk

Start near the bottom of your paper. Draw two tall curved lines that come close together at the top and curve out slightly at the bottom. This will be the tree trunk.

Step 2: Add the Branches

Add branches coming out from the trunk. Draw a tall branch in the middle, then add a few branches going out to each side.

Step 3: Draw the Tree Top

Draw a large, fluffy, cloud-like shape around the branches. This makes the leafy part of the tree.

Step 4: Add Final Details

Trace over the trunk and branches with a black marker. Add a few small curved lines inside the tree top to show leafy details.
