Rose Crochet Coffee Sleeve Pattern
Supplies:
- 1-2 colors of worsted/medium 4 yarn,
- H-8 hook for sleeve and roses, E-4 for tiny leaves
- Yarn needle
Stitch abbreviations/terminology:
- Chain → ch
- Slip stitch → sl st
- Single crochet → sc
- Half double crochet → hdc
- Double crochet → dc
- Increase (2 hdc in 1 st) → inc
Important for this project:
For this project, work in rows to avoid shifting of the
look/pattern. (You can work in rounds following the
same steps, just don’t join your rounds.)
**In each row, use alternating the 3rd or front loop
for all hdcs to create the knit look. In even rows (2,
4, 6, 8(for sc)), use 3rd loop which is right below the
back loop. In uneven rows (3, 5, 7), use front loop.
***You can increase the size of the sleeve by
repeating row 7 till you reach the desired height.
For wider sleeves, add more chs before you start
with row 1.
Switch it up: change colors every/every second row
to make a striped sleeve. Add a crochet heart,
flower, character, a big button, or some beads.
Sleeve part
Start with ch30.
Row 1: Hdc in 3rd ch from hook, hdc entire row, ch2,
turn your work (28 sts).

row.** Hdc entire row, ch1, turn your work (30 sts).

On the back side sew the rolled up single crochets together by stitching the loops.
With the tails sew the roses and leaves on the desired place on the sleeve. Weave in your
ends when finished.
How to Assemble the Sleeve
Line up both ends so that the pattern continues on the corresponding side. Sew both sides together and weave in the ends.
