Here are our best slime recipe tips and tricks on how to make slime less sticky! Usually, if it is too sticky add more contact solution and this will do the trick, but we have some other ideas.
Tips & Tricks to make your DIY slime recipes turn out great!
- Slowly add food coloring to the water, glue or glue, and water mixture to help mix it in easily.
- Start small! A 1/2 cup of glue makes a lot, so we typically always start with 1/4 cup glue.
- We have found not all-white school glue is created equally. Some off brands don’t produce that great of results as slime ingredients.
- If one of your recipes calls for sodium tetraborate, that is the fancy word for Borax.
Now it’s your turn to make one or all of your favorite goos. Be sure to share with me what ones you like best and any tips you have. I would love to compare notes.
