Supplies for Shark Drawing

You only need a few basic supplies to draw a shark:

Start with a pencil so you can erase if you need to. Once your shark drawing is finished, trace it with a black marker or crayon and color the top of the shark light gray.

How to Draw a Shark

Follow these easy shark drawing steps. Take your time and draw lightly with pencil first.

Step 1: Draw the Back, Fin, and Tail

Start with a long curved line for the sharkโ€™s back. Add the tall dorsal fin on top, then draw the pointed tail fin at the end.

Step 2: Add the Head, Mouth, and Fins

Draw the sharkโ€™s head and lower body line. Add the mouth, eye, teeth, gill marks, and the large pectoral fin underneath.

Step 3: Add More Fins

Add the smaller fins near the back of the shark. These extra fins help the shark look more complete and realistic.
