I love this pattern. People usually leave it till round 1. I have always been doing that as well as I knew just that, but the round 2 actually adds to the perfect heart shape. love it. thanks :)

Please could you explain exactly what you mean by "chain 1 dc in trc" in the 'Round 2' instructions? I'm not sure I understand as the 'chain 1'isn't a separate instruction as it is in the rest of the pattern - please could you clarify? Many thanks!

hello, beautiful pattern. I'm lost. In round 1 at the very end do you slip stitch in the center or do you slip stitch into the next chain?

Just wanted to let you know that this is the cutest heart pattern I've seen on Pinterest! Thanks for the pattern! So easy, too... I finished a slipper and was looking for a cute heart to put on it, found this one, and have been so hooked that I've made 8 of these instead of finishing the other slipper! Lol! Thanks again!

I have been practicing with another heart pattern tutorial on Utube, I would like to try this pattern but am not sure where to begin round 3 after the chain 3 instructions. I understand how to make a trc but as a newbie to crochet videos are crucial. Do you have a video tutorial of this appliqué heart? Thanks much.
