This Chocolate Caramel Cake is delicious! Yes, it is a bit rich and decadent but would be a great dessert recipe for a special occasion or dinner party!
Chocolate Caramel Cake
1 Chocolate Cake mix (German Chocolate or Devil’s Food works great)
1 – 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
1 – 12 ounce jar of caramel ice cream topping
1 – 8 ounce container of frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 chocolate candy bar to make chocolate curls
Bake cake in a 9″ X 13″ pan according to package directions. Remove cake from oven and immediately poke holes in the cake with a skewer or large meat fork. Pour sweetened condensed milk over the cake. Allow milk to soak in a bit, then pour caramel ice cream topping over the cake. Cool cake completely. Frost cake with whip topping and decorate with chocolate curls.
