I first enjoyed this wonderful dip at the Book Inn Bed and Breakfast in South Bend, Indiana. I have made it many times since. It is also very delicious with bacon crumbles and sliced almonds on top. Give it a try!
I have made this several times and it is amazing! The first time I had it I was in love and my friend told me the recipe and I was shocked, it honestly sounded gross, but I am telling you it is soooo good!
*Tip* A great way to make individual servings- Mix ingredients as stated, then top slices of party (sized) pumpernickel or rye with a spoonful or so & pop in the broiler or toaster oven.
As mentioned above- it’s easy to adjust the amount you make, just remember to use equal parts of the ingredients.
Oh it might not sound good, but it is super delicious! Everyone always asks for the recipe. You can make a smaller amount — just make sure you use equal parts of the swiss cheese, mayo and onion.
2 cups of mayo? You sure that’s not 2 tablespoons? That just sounds gross. Between the oil from the mayo and the swiss cheese, would there be room for onion flavor to come thru?
