Versital Mason Jars
Often we are overloaded with cookies and candies during the holidays. A jar mix allows the recipient to bake up a treat when they want it after all the other holiday treats are gone.
Using mason jars to present edible gifts is so fun and creative. Mixes such as mason jar brownies really do look like a work of art and how the layers of ingredients resemble sand art. Once you add a beautifully printed label and ribbon it makes a picture-perfect gift.
Just think you can make this brownie in a jar recipe and present it as shown here with very little effort. And your recipients will be so excited to bake up their goodies.

Peppermint Brownies Recipe Notes:
Layer sugar, cocoa powder, and sugar then press very firmly, add Andes mints, and press again. Next, slowly add flour packing as you go. If it is heaping at the end I take a piece of plastic wrap and cover the top of the jar and then press firmly. It will all fit in a wide-mouth jar.
The recipient will add 1 cup melted butter, 4 eggs, and 2 teaspoons vanilla to the dry ingredients. Then they will bake the brownies in a 9 X 13-inch prepared pan with cooking spray.
Your friends will be able to bake up the most delicious brownies ever! So moist and fudgy with just the right amount of mint. Better than a box mix of cooked brownies any day!
