Crochet dishcloths are a super simple little gift. Not only do they really work great they make up very quickly. They are the perfect project to have around while watching TV, or for in the car during kid pick up time.
I used this simple pattern that makes a nice scalloped border without having to crochet around the edge. You can find the pattern here. I was able to get two dishcloths from 1 ball of Sugar n' Cream cotton yarn.
Package with a nice bottle of soap and you a really useful gift! By the way there is free shipping today at Mrs. Meyer's Soap.

Thanks for taking the time to visit me today!

Those are gorgeous…makes me wish I knew how to crochet. The way you wrapped them is very festive too!
Sugar ‘n Cream also has a knitting pattern for those of us that don’t crochet. I love the ones I have made and they are still going strong after several years of use.
Great idea (I love simple!) — I also love your crochet heart garland
I love making those. You can also use them for bath clothes. They are softer then the terry ones. Great for Christmas presents.
Thx!!!
Thanks for the idea. I tried to click on the link but there was an error. Am I the only one?
I just tried the link for the pattern and it is working for me. Here it is again http://www.crochetnmore.com/dishcloth.htm. I hope this helps!

there are so many small crochet projects, but I always fall back on dishcloths for gifts – I try to do one or two a month and then have a pretty good give away pile… I really like this scalloped edge, will try yours out very soon. Thanks!
I LOVE how cute these washcloths are…I am already in a crochet frenzie trying to make everybody I know a hat for christmas, but I think I might make a few of these too to give away with some jam I made. SO cute, I love the frilly edge!!!
