Posted by  ·  October 16, 2012  ·  Last Updated: October 16, 2012

I am beyond excited to be one of Woman’s Day 75 Spooktacular Halloween ideas! Congratualtions Woman’s Day on celebrating 75 years!

They chose my Halloween candy bar covers.

Here are the files if you would like to make some!

Printable Bat Candy Bar Cover

Printable Dracula Candy Bar Cover

Printable Ghost Candy Bar Cover PDF

To make the bat, trace this bat template onto black construction paper or card stock and cut out. For the Dracula print on purple or green card stock and for ghost, print white card stock and cut out.

Tape the edges of candy bar wrappers to the undersides and tape the bars onto the cutouts. Glue on googly eyes, fold the paper up and fasten with a glue dot or double stick tape so the cover is easy for kids to RIP off.

You might like mini bats which are perfect for classroom treats and are a cinch to cut out on a cutting machine like the Silhouette.

I tried to download the candy bar bat to print the pattern but kept getting prompted that I had to download ND Player so I did but it still keeps prompting me to download it even though it already IS downloaded. Does it have to be this hard?

Phew! So glad to have finally found this! I've seen your bat candy bar wrappers all over Pinterest and not a one of them links to your blog or even a legitimate blog. It took a google image search to finally find this post.

Thanks so much for sharing such a cute idea! I'm going to make these for my son's preschool class.
