How to Make a Bunny Finger Puppet From a Tissue
This easy origami-inspired bunny craft starts with a basic tissue (we used a Kleenex), and within minutes, it transforms into the cutest little finger puppet. No scissors, glue, or special supplies requiredโjust folding! The result is a floppy-eared bunny thatโs just the right size for small fingers and big imaginations. Kids will love making them and putting on their own bunny puppet shows. Itโs a great way to work on fine motor skills and creativity in a low-mess, high-fun way.
Step 1: Start with a piece of regular tissue paper.
Step 2: Fold the bottom of the tissue upwards to just below the halfway point.
Step 3: Fold the top from the bottom again, and line it up with the top section to form a long rectangle.
Step 4: Take the right-hand piece of the tissue paper and fold downwards at a 45-degree angle.
Step 5: Do the same with the left-hand side.
Step 6: Fold the bottom left-hand section upwards and the bottom right-hand section upwards and in to form a diamond shape.
Step 7: Now fold the left-hand and right-hand sections in as well to turn the diamond into a kite shape. Remember to watch the video if you are unsure of the folds to make.
Step 8: Now fold the top section over backwards.
Step 9: Fold the tissue around in a circular pattern and secure the bottom sections with a staple.
Step 10: Form the ears and the face area by opening the top sections of the tissue as well as the middle section.
Step 11: Using colored pens, draw the bunny face.
The tissue paper bunny puppet is ready!
