    Make Easter Fun with this cute Bunny Puppet

    We are keeping entertained with this cute little bunny puppet. If you are looking for easy Easter crafts look no further. There is just a little bit of sewing required to make this bunny puppet making it a good beginning sewing project for kids if they are just learning to sew.  These puppets can also entertain a crowd.  Whip up the puppets ahead of time and then let kids decorate.  Don’t forget to have a puppet show. What a great way to make your Easter Dinner fun!

    Bunny Puppet Supplies

    • two 8 1/2″ X 11″ pieces of felt
    • two googley eyes
    • one pink pom pom
    • three white pom pom (one is for tail on back)
    • fabric glue
    • small scrap of pink felt for ears and tongue
    • disappearing ink fabric marking pen
    • printable template below

    Print out bunny puppet template and cut out.  Using the marking pen trace around the template on one piece of felt.

    Pin two sheets of felt together.  Sew around the bunny on the line.

    Carefully cut around bunny close to the stitching line. Be careful to not cut stitches.

    Glue on facial features with fabric glue. Don’t forget the tail on the back. In about 10 minutes you can make a cute bunny puppet.  Facial features can also be sewn on. This is a great idea especially if you are practicing hand sewing.  Make sure you do this before stitching around the bunny.
