Pineapple Casserole Ingredients

Find your 8×8 casserole dish and round up these ingredients. You probably already have most of these in your pantry and fridge.

● canned pineapple tidbits drained

● crushed pineapple, drained

● sugar

● all-purpose flour

● grated Cheddar cheese

● butter, melted

● Ritz type crackers, crushed (round buttery crackers about 30 crackers)

Putting it Together

  1. Preheat oven to 350˚F. Grease an 8-inch square or 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sugar and flour.
  3. Drain pineapples. Stir in pineapple and grated cheese. Toss well to combine.

4. Crush crackers, coat with melted butter and pour evenly over the pineapple mixture.

5. Bake for about 30-45 mins at 350 until golden brown and bubbly.

Pineapple Casserole

Ingredients  

  • 1 20 oz can of pineapple tidbits drained
  • 1 20 oz can crushed pineapple drained
  • 1/3 cups sugar
  • 5 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1 sleeve ritz type crackers crushed (round buttery crackers about 30 crackers)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350˚F. Grease an 8-inch square or 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
  • In a bowl, combine sugar and flour. Stir in pineapple and grated cheese. Toss well to combine.

Additions and Storage Suggestion

I am a huge fan of fresh pineapple, so you have to trust me on this; canned pineapple works best for this recipe.

Finally, to take this casserole over the top, you could add maraschino cherries on top and even sprinkle coconut on top, too.
