How to Cut a Snowflake Step by Step
You donโt need muchโjust some white paper, scissors, and maybe a pencil if you want to trace the design onto paper.
Follow these simple steps to fold and cut your paper into beautiful snowflakes

Step 1: Start by downloading one of our free snowflake templates and printing it on thin copy paper. Using a template makes it easy to create intricate designs and ensures your snowflake turns out just right! You’ll find the templates at the bottom of this page.
Step 2: Flip the template over and fold the paper in half diagonally to form a triangle.

Step 3: Now fold in a half again, this time from the left-hand side to the right-hand side to form a smaller triangle with the cutting guide showing.

Step 4: Flip the paper over again and fold the right side to the middle as shown in the image below.

Step 5: Now fold the left side to the middle.

Step 6: Flip the paper over again, and follow the cutting lines to remove the shaded areas of the paper. Once done, you can unfold your snowflake.
