How to make a Kids Santa Hat
Download the template and print it on white copy paper. Cut out the pattern pieces and assemble pieces according to the numbers.
Cut out the pattern on the fold of the fabric. Cut a piece of trim 22″ long. I used the entire 4.5 inches with of the 1/8 of the yard fleece.
Sew 1/4 inch seam along the edge of the folded red triangle.
The edge of the fleece trim over about a half inch and stitch. I used a very long stitch length, about 5.
Fold the trim piece right sides together and stitch along the end. Use 1/2 seam.
Turn the red hat inside out. Place the white trim inside the hat. The right side of trim will be next to the wrong side (inside) of the hat.
Stitch around the top of the hat with 1/2 inch seam.
Fold the trim to the outside and sew the pom to the hat.
You’re done! Your child can be Santa this entire holiday season.
This little one is going to make a great Santa!
It is always fun to celebrate the season!
