How to Make a DIY Graduation Card
I think homemade graduation cards are the best. Your special efforts will for sure be appreciated!
Use the printable graduation cap top template as a guide to cut out the cardstock.
Fold the top edge over.
Open the card up and make two slits that will hold the gift card. Lay your gift card down first and mark where the slits will go. Make sure you make the cuts on a cutting board or mat. This card is designed to hold the gift card so it isn’t reveled until they lift the cap.
Place the gift card inside.
Now you are ready to decorate your graduation cap with a tassel.
How to make a tassel
Place a brad in the center of the hat. Slip the tassel under the brad then securely fasten.
Place a glue dot in the right corner to keep the card closed.
One festive graduation gift card holder in minutes! Now you are ready to head to the graduation party with a gift the graduate will LOVE!
