This crochet ruffle scarf made with Sashay sequins yarn is the perfect way to add some sparkle to your holiday! You can make it for yourself or gift it to that special someone. It would make a wonderful handmade gift.
My newest find that I am totally loving is The Crochet Lite. It is this little crochet hook that lights up so you can crochet in low light. I was able to crochet while watching a movie at night with my family! For this scarf I used an H hook.
This scarf is super simple to make! Fold over the end about two inches and begin! Put the needle in one of the top loops, skip one loop space, put hook in next space. Do this nine times. Many of the patterns I saw worked the scarf in the second row of loops from the top. For me I found it hard to pull through the loops to create a stitch. Working in the top row of loops made this super simple.
On the 10th time pull through all the loops on the hook.
Repeat until the scarf is as long as you want it.
It is a super easy way to add a festive touch to your holiday wardrobe or it makes a useful and lovely handmade gift!

LOVE! I received one of these scarfs for Christmas and had no idea how easy it seems to make! My MIL liked mine so much. I might have to whip her up one =)
Got the scarf finished and it is beautiful, BUT don’t know how to finish it off the needle. Help Please!
This tutorial inspired me to finally give it a go. I am working on it tonight while watching a Christmas movie with my husband. It looks so beautiful!
Just curious,
How did you finish the scarf?
Thanks!
I bought one of these needles and they are awesome amd they work. Our Joann’s didn’t have them but another Joann’s did and so I bought and tried it. Wonderful now I can crochet in the dark when we take a trip.
I want to learn to do this! Thanks for the instructions. What a beautiful scarf .
This scarf is absolutely beautiful! I have a bunch of this kind of yarn and haven’t been able to figure out what I was going to make with it. Now I know. Thank you!!!

OMG that crochet hook looks like the best thing since sliced bread.
Going to have to look for this hook! And – the scarf caught my eye – just finished one identical to it myself – but knitted it!! Absolutely beautiful isn’t it? Wish it hadn’t been made as a gift. Will most likely make another and another and another!!!
