I did a project very similar to this, but I didn’t put the extra pencil holders. I just had the pencils in the pocket on the front. Of course yours looks alot more professional than mine did.

This is fantastic! I’ve seen the pencil/crayon rolls, but love how the notepad is incorporated. I also love the way you’ve recycled the old jeans. This is definitely going to be my next project.

I just made one of these for my daughter…very clever! I used a pocket from a pair of pants that had a stain on them for the front and she loves it. I used cotton fabric and iron on interfacing and it came out great! Thanks for another great tutorial!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much for this tutorial. I just used it to make a gift for a birthday party my 7yo daughter was invited to attend. We had no money to be buying a gift, so I used fabric I had on hand, and this tutorial was a lifesaver! Email me, if you like, and I’ll send you a picture of how it turned out. =)
