It is a new year and I am trying to make Skip to my Lou the very best it can be.  My hope is that little site brings value to your life. I would like to make sure I am on track, so I am asking if you might be willing to fill out a survey for me — I hope you will! It is all anonymous !

Thank you so much for taking your time to fill out this survey! I appreciate it!

  1. My pleasure to complete the survey. I love your ideas and your enthusiasm for what you do shines through in your words and pictures. I too am in the higher income range, but living in So Cal, being an at home mom with a kid in private school, I am as thrifty as they come. I love seeing what you create with $300 machines, but they are really only a dream for me. Our dollars aren’t going as far as they used to, so I appreciate it when you show us ways to cut financial corners and yet make things beautiful and fun for kids.

  2. I absolutely love your ideas and tips! You are very talented and I consider it a blessing to have found your site! Thanks for taking the time to make everyones’s day a little brighter!! 🙂

  4. Just wanted to say thanks for all the Handmade ideas the last few weeks! Thanks so much for all the GREAT ideas!

  5. I love your site and it was my pleasure to complete the survey. You are wise to do it b/c you need to know your demographics to know what people are interested in and to provide demographic info to potential advertisers. I do hope you got mine. I hit “email” so I hope that it was indeed emailed to whoever was supposed to receive it. Maybe it was just a problem w/my computer, but I did not get any kind of confirmation or message saying that it went out. I hit “email” several times, so it probably went out three times if it went at all. Thanks so much, and keep up the good work.

  6. I love helping those who strive to be of a help to others. So the survey is my way of helping you to help me better. Thanks for all you do to help us with everyday life by using your tips and instructions. Best of 2010 to you and yours. Looking forward to seeing much here throughout the coming year.

  7. I answered the survey, no problem. It’s just that some of the questions didn’t really give an option of an answer that best suited me, so just ‘winged’ it. 🙂 And even though our income is quite satisfactory, I’ll always be thrifty at heart. We started our married life on nothing and could go back, if needed. So, it’s not a matter of whether you can afford it, but is it always necessary. God has blessed us in order that we may bless others, and we can’t do that if we are always ‘gathering’ for ourselves. So–bring on the thrifty ideas!!

  8. Ditto what Cheryl just said in her first paragraph. The survey was not a problem. The information cannot be tied to anyone personally, so there is no reason for anyone to worry about divulging income or state. As far as income level vs. thriftiness, I do get that point. Sometimes, even if you’re in a middle or higher “bracket,” either you have expenses you have to take care of that don’t allow much if any discretionary income or you are (smartly) thrifty. But either way, personally, whether I had $0 income or $1M income, I think it’s fun to learn about what’s out there, even if I can’t afford to buy it.

Keep up the great work on your site! I really enjoy it!

  9. Guess I did the double submit too since the fields didn’t clear after submitting…sorry, hope it doesn’t mess with your percentages.
