During the holidays we often have more guests. Are you ready for them? Thanks to Lowe’s I have been getting my home holiday ready. Remember how thrilled I was to learn how to hang a wreath on a storm door? Getting the guest room ready is top on my list. While providing extra bedding, a carafe of water, a few snacks, toiletries, tissues and magazines are key, my favorite item in the guest room is a guest book.

It is the most wonderful way to remember all those special guests and when they stayed. I especially love it when they mention something we did during their stay.

Do you have something special you like to put in your guest room? Lowe’s has plenty of items to make your guest room comfortable and inviting. From seasonal decorations to pillows and curtains it is easy to create a special space for your guests! Don’t miss all the creative ideas in Lowe’s Holiday Ready Home Live-stream event. I also like Lowe’s Creative Ideas Magazine for loads of DIY inspiration.

That’s a cool idea to have a guest book! I would do it but most of the time our guest room is a storage room/mess, haha. Thanks for the giveaway!
My daughter moved back home and now I no longer have guest rooms. Love the guest book idea. Thanks.
The guest book is a nice touch. It reminds me of staying at a charming B&B!
Thanks for the giveaway!
Wow, do I love your idea of putting a guest book in the guest room! We are recent empty nesters and have just updated one bedroom into a guest room. I will definitely be adding a book now!
Lowe’s would be a great source for me to add a few finishing touches to this room! Thanks for the giveaway!
it’s always nice to offer your spare bedroom not in use to friends who are being flooded with out-of-town guests. My folks have done this for years.
Thanks so much for all your ideas….keep ’em coming!!!! And thanks for a chance to win this frat prize at this time of year!!!
Thanks for the thoughtful (and timely) giveaway!
Love the guest book idea! I usually leave small snack basket for midnight snacking with mini loaves of homemade bread.
Love the guest book idea!
What a fantastic prize!!
I put a basket full of toiletries, snacks, and water in the room. I also have books about the area . And the day they are due to arrive I get fresh flowers for the room.
I always leave a small basket of toiletries and fresh towels, but I love the idea of adding a small thoughtful gift
Never thought of having a guest book. What a great idea! We always have several guest during the summer- we live at the beach.
We are still using our wedding guest book for guests. I have guests write the date they came over, their names, and then a summary (games & movie) of what we did that night. It’s serving as a great memory, and it’s helpful to remind me who we need to have over soon because it’s been a while since we’ve seen them.
