We recently moved our laundry room into what used to be a very tiny bathroom. My husband installed a large pocket door to maximize the small space. The room needed a quick re-do to make the space work. A trip to Lowe’s quickly turned this small space laundry room into a useful and organized work space!
Small Space Laundry Room Ideas
To give our laundry room a fresh look we first installed a laminate counter on top of the washer and dryer to make a nice work surface. We used a counter top with a back splash to keep socks and small clothing items from falling behind the washer.
Lowe’s had plenty of closet storage ideas that we could borrow for our laundry room. We installed Rubbermaid Shelving to make the best use of the space . For years we have sorted our clothes into dish tubs. Now the tubs have the perfect home. Our clothes from the laundry shoot fall right into a large laundry basket sitting on the counter. Wet clothes can be hung over the large wash sink.
Everything now has a home and our laundry room looks organized, clean and fresh!

My bathroom needs quite a bit of work! The people who lived here before me laid down vinyl tile and my children get it wet every time they get out of the tub and it just isn’t sticking anymore.
There are so many areas that i could think of right now ! but the first and most important room is our daughters bedroom, her ceiling needs fixed ๐

There are lots of places that could use some work, but I would love to add some shelving in my closet and my laundry room. I like the counter over the washer & dryer, much better use of that space.
