Thanks , I’ve just been looking for information about this topic for ages and yours is the best I have found out so far. However, what about the conclusion? Are you certain concerning the source?

we have been booing for several years now and even as my children grow, they still look forward to who will make the list each year….I use this project to use my scrapbooking odds and ends that are “halloweeny” to decorate each individual bag and add lots of goodies from the Dollar Spot at Target purchased that year and the previous year at end of season. We also do Orange Crush soda (we found the mini cans this year!!) and popcorn, coloring books, etc. We found Boo Berry cereal this year for a buck a box and so added that to a few bags. We do a couple of our neighbors, but also several other families that we know in other neighborhoods to get it started there…thank you for all of the great ideas!! have you ever thought about other holidays, too?

Ever since having kids we’ve gone back and forth with our “halloween dilema” I never celebrated halloween so it seemed easy for our kids to also not do the Trick or Treat thing, but every year I see more and more fun things that go on during halloween and it makes it harder to not celebrate. I LOVE the idea of “booing” the neighbors!! I’ll have to think of a creative way to do this… I’m thinking I might do something like this for Christmas … hmmm.. now you’ve got me thinking!

We lost our “BOO” friends, they moved. All the other kids in our neighborhood have grown up.
So, we do this at Christmas time. We find families (church pastor can help with a family in need) and leave a package, usually homemade fleece blankets, popcorn or cookies, and a movie. We write what we call “Life Lessons” like Life Lesson 24: It is better to give than to receive. Life Lesson 236: The true magic of Christmas is friends like you.

We did the cat or jack last year and everyone loved it. They actually resurfaced this year, when they got to our house we gave them a facelift they were sad looking. I was so happy to see that wherever they ended up they were kept all year and started over.

Gotta love Halloween!
I love your cat mask, I could totally wear this at a party! 😀
I currently have an Halloween serie on my blog. Maybe you’ll find something “Booing”, indeed. ^-^
