I had some exciting news this month! My candy bar covers were featured in Woman’s Day! Looking for a fun and easy way to dress up your Halloween candy bars? Check out these adorable candy bar wrappers, featured in Woman’s Day magazine. They’re perfect for adding a festive touch to your treats! Plus, they’re really easy to make!
Woman’s Day asked if I would do a couple of new designs so I added a ghost and a Dracula.
Halloween Candy Bar Covers
Here are the files if you would like to make some! Just click the button nd download.
How to Make
To make the bat, trace this template onto black construction paper or card stock and cut it out.
For the Dracula print on purple or green card stock.
For the ghost, print white card stock and cut it out.
Once you have the printable cut out:
- Tape the edges of candy bar wrappers to the undersides and tape the bars onto the cutouts.
- Glue on googly eyes,
- Fold the paper up and fasten it with a glue dot or double stick tape so the cover is easy for kids to RIP off.
Mini Bat Candy Bar Wrappers
You might like mini bats which are perfect for classroom treats and are a cinch to cut out on a cutting machine like the Cricut. These file work perfect for Hershey Miniatures.
A Cricut or Silhouette do make quick work of this little project. I have included both jpeg and PDF versions.
I also have a download for a little greeting that fits inside!
Go check out my dear friend Kami of No Biggie. Her fabulous “Spooky Mirror” was in the issue also!

I love that these are line drawings. The kiddos had a blast coloring these and cutting them out. Great way to prep for Halloween. I wish more bloggers offer this option. Blessings from Port Huron, Michigan.
Thank ! Thank you for sharing your great ideas.

great ideas for Halloween. You are a angel!!!
I just found these on Pinterest, they are adorable! We have a set of quadruplets in our neighborhood that I always make a special Halloween treat for, and this is perfect! I’ll be the hit of the ‘hood this year.
I’m doing this for my sons classroom but I’m not seeing the greeting printout for the full sized candy bars. Was wondering if there was one?
These are just the cutest thing! We shared these over on our blog as well! 🙂 http://www.horrortradition.com/#!Halloween-Crafts/cmbz/5628ff8f0cf2f4d93f148279
I love these candy bar covers and have used them for several years as a treat for the grandkids classes, but I had to dress them up a little so I put a bead of glitter glue along the edge. I fold them to fit the candy bar and on both sides of that flap I put the glitter. Purple on Dracula, dark blue on the bat, green on the witch and silver or iridescent white on the ghost. Just makes them show up a little more. Thanks…
I was looking for Halloween themed money holders to send a Halloween treat to my nephews who live on the opposite coast. I wasn’t able to find any, but my Aunt shared your post on Facebook and I used these. They worked perfectly! I just cut a slit at the base of the head and used a paper clip to hold the money. I have three nephews so I was able to use all three designs. Thank you so much for your hard work in making these and making them available to the rest of us.
Do you have mini templates for the ghost and dracula? Loving these, they are so adorable! Thanks for being so amazing!
love them!!! 🙂 they are sooo cute.
Thanks for the templates!!! My nieces and nephews will really enjoy these at haloween. I have to get busy. There are a lot of them.
