Hi folks! It’s Melanie from Hello Melly Designs here with a festive way to say thanks to Jolly Ol’ St. Nicolas! Imagine with me: It’s Christmas Eve, and the excitement fills the air! On this night, the bedtime routine (made 10x harder because of that air-filling excitement!) isn’t finished without one final touch- setting out Cookies for Santa! Santa will be even more pleased with his treats when they are sitting atop this cute quilted placemat, made specifically for his special snack! (Oh, that little red bow! My favorite ;))

This free quilt pattern is good even for beginners, and a project this small is sure to be quick as a wink. Wrap it up with a cute plate and mug, and give it as a neighbor gift! Everyone knows that Christmas time is cuddle-in-a-quilt time, and on Christmas Eve, even Santa’s cookies deserve a little extra snuggle on a quilted placemat.

The wreath is a good placeholder for a salad size plate- I bought a simple red one and personalized it with a paint pen. So simple and SO cute!

Better hope St. Nick comes quick- or he might find all his cookies are gone! 😉
