Hello Skip to My Lou readers! I’m Jen from Tatertots & Jello and I am so excited to be here. I love Cindy’s Teacher Appreciation series each year and it’s such an honor to participate!!

I think it’s always fun to give teachers a gift that they can use during the summer on their time off. We love smoothies and I thought it would be great to use a play on words with juice and a gift certificate to a juice bar.

Here’s what I came up with (also with a little help from my husband and his mad Microsoft Publisher skillz). We moms are so busy, this is an easy gift to make and show YOUR child’s teacher(s) how much you appreciate them!

Here’s what you do:

TeachersAppreciationGiftTagsupplies:printabletags,scissors,hole punch,string.

  • Print off the printable below.
  • Cut out the tags.
  • Punch a hole in the corner of the tags and string ribbon through.
  • Have your child sign their name.
  • String the tags through the ribbon and tie on the cup.
  • Fill the cup with candy and a gift card.

  1. Thanks for sharing the printable label! I am not good with stuff like that! For those looking for these tumblers – I’ve also seen them in Big Lots, Walgreens, Dollar General Store and even Kroger! The prices range from $2 to $10.

  2. Thanks for sharing the printable too! I will make one of these for my son’s art teacher. Too bad I can’t afford to do a big giftcard, but I will buy a nice bottle of juice and attach this to it. One of the other teachers is getting a glass bottle of starbucks with a “Thanks a latte” label. 🙂

  3. Pretty and Thoughtful too! What a great way to show your appreciation:)

  4. Love this idea but we don’t have a juice place nearby. I am going to use a Target gift card in the cup and substitute “Thanks for keeping me on Target this year!”. Thanks for the inspiration.

  5. Simple and cute idea! I love the saying. I also like giving teacher’s a gift card so they can go do something fun for themselves after giving so much. Thanks for sharing!

  6. Hi Ericka!!

I got the cups from my local grocery store in the seasonal isle. But you can find them at most any chain store in the seasonal isle with the picnic supplies 🙂

    I think they were $1.99/each.

  7. This is awesome! Makes me wish my kids were still in elementary school because it was so much easier then. @Ericka those look like the Copco cold cups. They are available in most stores, I know I’ve seen them or similar ones at Bed, Bath & Beyond, Walmart, Fred Meyer, Target. Most places that sell coffee cups/tumblers also have these cold cups, some are double layer insulated, most of them have a rubber grip(the purple on the side.)

  8. Thanks for letting me stop by Cindy!! It’s been so fun!!

  9. I don’t think we have any Jamba Juice’s near us, but I could sub in a Michael’s or JoAnn’s GC! Thanks!
