These free care package printable gift tags make it so easy to send a little cheer to someone special. Print the tags, attach them to candy, snacks, or small treats, and you have a thoughtful care package that feels personal without taking a lot of time.
I made this care package for one of our dearest friends who was going through a tough time. We wanted him to know we were thinking about him and remind him how very special he is to us. A box filled with candy puns, favorite snacks, and a crossword puzzle book turned into such a sweet way to say, “You are loved.”
These free printable care package tags are perfect for a sick friend, a college student, a neighbor, a teacher, a family member, really anyone who could use a smile and a sweet reminder that they are loved.
Print. Cut. Attach. That’s it.

What to Put in a Candy Care Package
A candy care package does not need to be complicated. Start with a few treats, add the printable tags, and then tuck in one or two thoughtful extras.
Good care package fillers include candy bars with matching candy gram tags, gum or mints, favorite snacks, a handwritten note, crossword puzzles or word searches, a small coloring book, cozy socks, tea or cocoa packets, lip balm, hand lotion, or a small gift card.
That is what makes a care package special, not the amount of stuff inside, but the thought behind it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Keep it warm and simple. “Thinking of you,” “Sending a little cheer,” “You are loved,” or “A little something to brighten your day” all work beautifully. Candy gram tags make it even easier because each treat already has a cute saying built right in.
Candy bars, gum, mints, chocolate, hard candy, and small packaged treats all work well. Choose candy that matches the printable saying, then attach the tag with washi tape or a bit of ribbon.
Yes! Just choose treats that will not melt or crush in transit. In warm weather, skip chocolate bars and reach for gum, mints, hard candy, fruit snacks, crackers, or packaged cookies instead.
Anyone who needs a little encouragement! These tags work for sick friends, college students during finals week, teachers, neighbors, coworkers, family members, and anyone going through a hard time.
Washi tape is quick and decorative. A small piece laid across the top of the tag works perfectly. For a more polished look, punch a hole in the corner of the tag and thread a short piece of ribbon through it.

I love the idea of the care packages. I would like to send one to my sister on her birthday. We have 5 brothers and thank goodness we were born in the middle of the boys & only a year and three days apart. So we have always been sisters and best friends. I really think this care package is a unique and different idea. I am going to need help & ideas to get it together. Her birthday is Dec. 28, so I need to get busy. My email is lmartinquilts@yahoo.com. I really want to thank you for the idea and any help you can or will give me. Linda
