Yes, you can make homemade lick and stick stickers. If you want to make some too you will need gelatin, light corn syrup and flavoring extract. We used LorAnn's flavoring (in apple) but you can also use the extract
from the spice isle at the grocery store. You might try lemon.
Homemade Sticker Gum
1 envelope (1/4 oz) unflavored gelatin
4 tablespoons boiling water
1 teaspoon light corn syrup
1/2 tsp flavoring extract
Add gelatin to the boiling water and stir until dissolved. Stir in corn syrup and flavoring.
Paint sticker gum on backs of pictures cut from magazines or pieces of wrapping paper.
After the backs of papers are coated allow to dry completely.
Once paper is dry use punches to cut out fun shapes from the wrapping paper. Once you have all of the shapes cut out ---- lick lick away!
These stickers really work and the possibilities are endless. They could decorate note cards, lunch sacks, favor bags or make adorable stickers for gift wrapping with matching gift tags. Around here one special four year old has requested an alphabet book. Finding all of the letters and items that begin with the letters in our magazines will keep us busy!
Note: If you have left over sticker gum it will harden into a gel. To re-use, heat until it becomes liquid again.
Thanks for taking the time to visit me today!

BRILLIANT! I can’t wait to try this!
Woah! Seriously, you can make these?! So totally awesome!
oh, oh! so fun! we’ll be doing LOTS of this! it’s also a great excuse to get the punches that i always drool over!
Wow! I can’t wait to try this.
sounds like fun.
WOW thanks for sharing this is awesome.
My girls will love this!
I did this last year for my daughter, we both loved it!
A couple of hints:
1. Use scraps of paper leftover from scrapbooking.
2. Use paper punches, they make a great size for making them into stickers
3. I got some on a wall next to the table where I was painting it on, and it took awhile to get it off once it dried.
4. After the paper dries you might want to keep it somewhere where you can keep it flat, the edges starting curling up on me and it was hard to store.
Enjoy! I know we did
This is awesome, thanks for sharing. I’m linking this tute to my blog!
You get a star sticker on your forehead for being so creative! Love it. Can’t wait to try it. The only question is: what flavor? Mmmm…
we tried this and t was a disaster, it was one of those projects I was excited to try but had been filed in the ‘complete and utter waste of time’ file.
Looks like your turned out OK though.
