  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 2/3 Cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Andes Peppermint Crunch Baking Chips (or chopped Andes mints)
  • 1 1/4 Cup Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder


  1. Layer 1 cup sugar, 2/3 cup cocoa powder, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup Andes Peppermint Crunch baking chips (or chopped Andes mints), 1 1/4 cup flour, salt, and baking powder. Each layer must be pressed firmly into the jar.

Recipe Notes

Layer sugar, cocoa powder, sugar then press very firmly, add Andes mints and press again. Next slowing add flower packing as you go. If it is heaping at the end I take a piece of plastic wrap and cover the top of the jar and then press firmly. It will all fit in a wide mouth jar.
