These Valentines Day tags will help wrap up your goodies while letting your friend know that you think it is a treat having them for a friend. I am using them to package cookies but they would be cute stapled to a single serve packaged rice krispie treat for a classroom Valentine. Kids would love them. If you need more printable Valentines ideas look no further and you will love these printable Valentines Day cards.

Bake up your best Valentines treats (or buy something yummy) and place in a paper sack. I put my treats first into a glassine bag and then slip inside a paper bag. The glassine bag makes sure that any oil from the cookies won’t stain the bag. Fold over the top of the bag. Add a doily to make it extra pretty if you like. Fold the Valentines day tag around the top of the sack. Use a hole punch to place two holes at the top to tie twine or ribbon through. The tags can also be stapled or glued to the paper sack.
Before folding the gift tag in half lightly score where it should fold with a dull knife to make an indent in the paper. This will help the tag fold nicely.
Cut the tag in half if you would like to tie the tag around a cello bag and don’t need it to foldover.
If you are making sugar cookies I promise you this is the BEST sugar cookie frosting ever! Valentine puppy chow would be another delicious gift. If you have a friend with allergies these peppermint patties are amazing.
