A year ago, my family and I started talking about how hard it was to find good quality gifts for kids, which quickly turned into a conversation about each of our favorite toys and memories from childhood. After a while we realized that our fondest memories, whether from growing up in the 60s or twenty years later in the 80s, were of time spent exploring and imagining. That’s why we started imaginechildhood.com, a website that offers high quality durable toys, tools, and activities that encourage outdoor exploration, creativity, and imagination.
Today we are giving away a $35 gift certificate to our store!ย All you have to do to enter is take a trip over to the shop and tell us what your favorite item is in the comments for this post.
We would also like to offer a 15% discount for all Skip to my Lou readers for the duration of the Giveaway.ย You have until this coming Sunday night at midnight to leave a comment.ย The winner will be chosen by random number and will be announced a couple of days later!

Oh my, I am drooling!!! Everything is SO wonderful! The Art Table is great! I’ve never seen anything like it. My daughter would love it. I think she’d also love the Lifelike Plush Squirrel, since she’s very much into squirrels right now!
WOW! Winning that tree house would be a dream come true! Thanks for the contest and good luck everyone!
My daughter would love Snuggles the Sleeping Brown Bear:)
I think my boys and I would have lots of fun with the “Morse Code Kit”!
I really like the wooden block math kit. My son is really into math right now and this would be right up his alley. Great store!
I am absolutely in love with the fairies and the fairy houses! So adorable!!!! All your items are awesome!
I love the Organic Garden Kit! We are getting ready to start our first garden in our yard and this would be perfect for my boys! The pocket scopes look like a lot of fun too!
Hi Sarah!
Firstly, Thanks so very much for the chance to win such amazing toys! I wish you all the best in your new business (and fun!!) venture – you’ll be bringing many parents and children hours of joy and tender memories as well. It’s obvious you gave alot of thought about what moms, dads and children want when it comes to playtime.
My 5 year old son, 8 year old daughter and I are passionate about imaginary play. Thinking back to the variety of refrigerator box puppet theatres we constructed over the years, I am positive the Children’s Puppet Theater would get lots of use (and likely last longer than the cardboard style!) The felt fair trade puppets also get our applause.
Kindest Regards,

I LOVE the natural wood tree house- perfect for fairies!!
Love the double-sided deluxe art easel.
I LOVE the wooden tree house. Would i ever even let my kids play with it?? Hmm, maybe:)
Ooo… I love the backyard tipi – perfect for the little one
I love the crayon rocks! How fun are those???
I love everything but the stuffed animals are amazing. I think the fairies and fairy houses are great. I just love it all. I hope I win. My baby girl’s 2nd birthday is coming up and this would be great.
I like the wooden tree house (the out of stock one) best, but my kids never got into that kind of toy. Sniff, sniff – alas. So a more realistic favorite would be the catapult kit or fuel cell car kit!
