Last week I was able to attend The Creative Connection Event in Minneapolis. It is a gathering of creative women who come together to learn, grow and inspire. There were three full days of informational panels to increase knowledge of blogging and how to grow professionally along with fabulous classes to learn new creative skills from cooking….(photo from the adorable Shelley)

to making jewelry.

Kami, from, and I were honored to host a  Social Artworking (Pajama) Party for DecoArt. What a fun way to get together with friends and enjoy each others company and be creative.  (Thanks Kami, for the great pictures.)

The Creative Connection Event also has the most fabulous handmade market— an amazing shopping experience!

Truly the best part of this conference is the connections. From spending time with so many fabulous women to meeting publishers, artists and business women so many connections are made. Last year I met Amy Barickman,
who also attended this year! I am inspired by Amy’s talent and creativity. She owns Indygo Junction and has written a lovely book, Vintage Notions! I am thankful for this friend that makes me laugh, shares her ideas and truly adds joy to my life. What a fun time we have had building a strategic alliance and friendship!

Becky Higgins shared a recap video of her experience at the conference and did a wonderful job of capturing the fun of this big event!

A big thank you to all The Creative Connection Event sponsors:
