What is Shamrock Shake made out of?
The Shamrock Shake was first introduced in 1970. Can you believe the shake first was made of lemon-lime flavored with vanilla ice cream, a lemon-lime sherbet, and vanilla syrup? I don’t think I would have been a fan. By 1973, the shake was merely a green colored vanilla shake, eliminating the sherbet. Thankfully now it is now mint flavored vanilla ice cream. I love mint. If you do too you might like these mint recipes.

Green Candy Shamrocks
Green shamrocks are made by melting green candy coating and placing melted candy in a candy mold. Once hardened, pop candies out and garnish your St. Patty’s Day treats. They are super easy to make and add a nice touch to cupcakes too! I have a complete tutorial how I made candy stars. It will show just how to make candy toppers! They can be made for any holiday or occasion! All you need is a chocolate mold.

Thank you so much for posting this. I’m allergic to milk but following your directions I was able to use my fake milk and ice cream to make myself a shake. I’ve been missing out for all these years!!!
