We recently moved our laundry room into what used to be a very tiny bathroom. My husband installed a large pocket door to maximize the small space. The room needed a quick re-do to make the space work. A trip to Lowe’s quickly turned this small space laundry room into a useful and organized work space!
Small Space Laundry Room Ideas
To give our laundry room a fresh look we first installed a laminate counter on top of the washer and dryer to make a nice work surface. We used a counter top with a back splash to keep socks and small clothing items from falling behind the washer.
Lowe’s had plenty of closet storage ideas that we could borrow for our laundry room. We installed Rubbermaid Shelving to make the best use of the space . For years we have sorted our clothes into dish tubs. Now the tubs have the perfect home. Our clothes from the laundry shoot fall right into a large laundry basket sitting on the counter. Wet clothes can be hung over the large wash sink.
Everything now has a home and our laundry room looks organized, clean and fresh!

every room! but mostly my kids bathroom
My kitchen is first on the list. My hubby needs to make some structural repairs which are going to require tearing the kitchen apart. We will re-do as much of the kitchen as we can afford to at the same time.

We just started renovating OUR ENTIRE HOUSE! We’re starting with the Master Bedroom & Bath, then doing the Sunroom, then tackling the upstairs (2 bedrooms, hubby’s office & one large bathroom), then tackling the Dining & Formal Living, then the Living Room, Kitchen, and Utility. All while renovating the yard too! It’s going to take FOREVER!!!! (just kidding – we’re hoping to be done in a year and a half)

Our bedroom closet needs a MAJOR rehab as we are running out of space with all of the shoes all over the ground and on the hangers! We need ORGANIZATION!!
Honestly, it’s hard to choose which room because I could use $100 worth of supplies in any room in our house. Since I have to choose, I’ll say, My Master closet or laundry room. I think $100 worth of extras to either would make a HUGE difference! PICK ME!!! 😉
