Contestย closed! Winner was Kim C! Congrats Kim!
We recently moved our laundry room into what used to be a very tiny bathroom. My husband installed a large pocket door to maximize the small space. The room needed a quick re-do to make the space work. A trip to Lowe’s quickly turned this small space laundry room into a useful and organized work space!
Small Space Laundry Room Ideas
To give our laundry room a fresh look we first installed a laminate counter on top of the washer and dryer to make a nice work surface. We used a counter top with a back splash to keep socks and small clothing items from falling behind the washer.
Lowe’s had plenty of closet storage ideas that we could borrow for our laundry room. We installed Rubbermaid Shelving to make the best use of the space . For years we have sorted our clothes into dish tubs. Now the tubs have the perfect home. Our clothes from the laundry shoot fall right into a large laundry basket sitting on the counter. Wet clothes can be hung over the large wash sink.
Everything now has a home and our laundry room looks organized, clean and fresh!
Do you have a room that could use a little re-do?

My girl’s bathroom definitely needs a make over!
I would love to finish the dining room!
We just moved and have a large laundry room. I’ve been looking for ideas and I love your bins/shelves. I just might have to “borrow” that idea LOL! (My hubby works for Lowe’s so don’t include me in the contest)

Our kitchen needs a new coat of paint, badly. The ceiling, the walls, the cabinets, everything!
I have an unfinished bathroom that I would love to get started on.
We in the process of having a home built and I’d love to fix up the laundry room or garage.
Looks great! My husband’s office space at home could use a makeover, badly! Thanks for the giveaway!
My basement! Organizational bins would be great! Thanks for the chance.
Wow your laundry room looks amazing!!! So organized!!! There is one space in my house that is sorely neglected, the master bedroom. We painted the whole house when I was pregnant with my son and didn’t get to the master bedroom. 3 years later it is still that builders white with gunk on the ceiling left over from the previous owner’s glow in the dark stars. It is a pathetic room that needs some paint, maybe a curtain panel or 2 and I would love to rebuild my headboard. We want to start trying for #2 and it would be great if that space was a little more romantic ๐
My kitchen needs a makeover, it is very unorganized and the counters look terrible.
Thank you for the chance to win.
I love your makeover. My outdoor living space actually needs the most work now. I think I’ve got the inside under control (finally), but my porch needs repainting.
I think our kitchen could definitely use a little sprucing up.
I use dishpans, too, and I love your shelving idea. I think I might just do that.
Our kitchen for sure, can someone say 1950’s chipped countertops?
My husband’s office needs a lot of work…new floors, fresh paint, better lighting. Finished basements can be tricky!
