One piece of advice you all have given me in my organization quest is to label everything. So I have started labeling. I have had these containers from IKEA forever but they were never labeled. I had to open the lids each time I wanted to find something.
Silly I didn’t I label them before when they had a spot and even the card to do so.
Labeling is much more fun because I have one of these.
This Brother PTouch1280 is slick! The best thing is that there are so many tape options (iron on fabric tape, archival tape for scrapbooking, packing tape, etc.) that it really has more uses than just organization.

I love, love, love labels. I evene use pictures for my kids toys and clothing drawers so its easier for them to put them away.
Haha yes I too have the cupboard full of unlabelled boxes. This would stop me having to pull them out and look in them every time I need something!

Labelmakers are so fantastic. I miss my labelmaker at work in my pre-kids/office days. Tell you what…if I win this, then I will post a picture of my craft area on my blog. It’s in dire need of…something (purging, straightening, labeling…uh, vacuuming).
I don’t have a labeler, but I label everything anyway. I find that it helps my kids keep things (somewhat!) tidy. I also find that it helps ME keep things tidy. When I’m putting groceries in the cabinet, I might shove everything in there at random, but when the shelves are labled, I’m much more likely to only put veggies on the veggie shelf and soups on the soup shelf, etc. Even our refrigerator shelves are labled. For example, leftovers and things that will spoil fastest go on the “eat first!” shelf, so even my husband knows where to look first when preparing a meal.
Oooh I would love this. If I posted a picture of my craft cupboard you’d know how badly I need it!

This would be an awesome tool to have! I remember having one in the house as a child, but this one is definitely more sophisticated than the one we had!

I need a label maker-I just started organizing my closets last week and was going to label it! Since they were mentioned on Seinfield, label makers must be cool!
