One piece of advice you all have given me in my organization quest is to label everything. So I have started labeling. I have had these containers from IKEA forever but they were never labeled.  I had to open the lids each time I wanted to find something.

Silly I didn’t I label them before when they had a spot and even the card to do so.

Labeling is much more fun because I have one of these.

This Brother PTouch1280 is slick! The best thing is that there are so many tape options (iron on fabric tape, archival tape for scrapbooking, packing tape, etc.) that it really has more uses than just organization.

  4. Back when I had a job outside of my home I had access to a label maker, I loved all the pretty little labels it made. Oh how I miss it. 😉

  8. I just realized I wrote fled with no explanation- it was a black moled infestation that sent three of us to the hospital in ambulances. Upon discharge we were told we needed to leave the house IMMEDIATELY While we tried to salvage some things- experts deemed most of it unfit. Now, three years later, we are blessed with the return of our health (most days) and the ability to finally look for another home.

  11. Oh my gosh- years ago, we had three labelers, one for me , and one for each of my oldest two girls. When we fled our home (and most everything in it ) we lost them. Needless to say when you are trying to rebuy everything a family of six needs for a home, a labeler falls to the wayside. But I do love to label- and this would come in handy on our new homeschooling adventure- we have lots of supplies and containers to be labelled!!

  12. I *heart* label makers! I have one- but it’s not nearly as fancy as the one you have. I’ve got some boxes labeled but I really need to do the rest. My problem is that I keep changing my mind on how to actually store my stuff. I love those boxes!

  13. I heart my labeller! My girlfriend (an amateur organizer) came and helped out but made me get a labeller first. Now I can’t live w/o.

  14. Oh, I need this and really want it!! I just organized our craft cabinet this weekend but really want to label everything, too!!
