How to Make Something Special for a Teacher For Valentine’s Day

It couldn’t be any simpler to whip up a Valentine’s teacher gift. To make this super sweet gift you will need.

• glass jar
• a sweet treat to fill the jar
• ribbon
• printable “How Sweet It Is to Be Taught By You” label
• 3-inch hole punch
• scissors
• label paper

Print the labels in color on a solid sheet of label paper.  Print actual size. Do NOT choose fit to page. Label paper can be bought in a package at a craft store or by the single sheet at a copy store like Office Depot.  I typically upload the file to the Office Max website and have them print. Under the paper type and color option, you will see specialty paper and I choose full sheet labels.

To make it easy I use a 3 inch circle punch to cut out the labels.

Fill the jar with goodies.  Place some pretty ribbon around the jar and stick the label right on the front.

There is also a Happy Valentine’s Day gift tag to use included on the page.  I left the sticky back on the tag. Punch a hole at the top of the tag and attach with a ribbon to the jar. If you wanted the tag to be more sturdy you could remove the backing and stick to a piece of cardstock. Maybe even use colored cardstock and cut a bit bigger than the tag to leave a little border.

This makes an easy teacher appreciation gift anytime! I also have this super sweet version.
