Heartfelt Valentine's Day Gift Card by Pen N' Paper Flowers
Good Morning Skip to My Lou friends! I’m Jessica from Pen N’ Paper Flowers.
I’ve got a simple and fun “Heart Felt” Valentine’s Day printable for you today that is sure to sweeten the day of a teacher or anyone else you want to spoil! The “heartfelt” gift card envelope incorporates a clever play-on-words by incorporating a “felt heart” into the finished design of the envelope. I love that you or your kids can add some dimension to the card in a snap with the addition of a single felt heart! The envelope has also been designed with the option for allowing children to personalize it by coloring in the white hearts or even adding glitter if they want. You can keep it super simple though and just have them sign the back and call it done. Directions and a supply list are at the bottom of the post…
Supplies you will need:
Double Stick Tape – to secure gift card on the inside of envelope
Scissors or paper trimmer
Felt heart stickers – I found the perfect pack of “Heart Felties” at Hobby Lobby
OR just use hand-cut felt hearts of your own.
Glue – if you aren’t using pre-cut heart stickers
Gift Card of your choice
Print onto 8.5 x 11 white card stock. (save ink and print in black and white)
Trim to size using scissors or paper trimmer.
Fill in the “For” and “From” sections on the back of the card using a pen. (this is where your child can help if you’d like).
Fold at the points indicated on the directions.
Staple the lip closed. right in the middle of the 4 hearts
Apply a small felt heart to the cover of your gift card envelope. If you aren’t using a pre-made sticker heart you can attach it with glue or double-stick tape. This is another part your child can help with.
Apply a small piece of double-stick tape to the back of a gift card and insert into envelope.
Fold cover closed and insert into lip to secure.
I hope you LOVE today’s FREE printable and will enjoy using it!
