I found a work-around for the lines. Convert this doc to a pdf. (I use the program PDF reDirect) Once you have it in a PDF file then you should be able to print without the lines. :) It worked for me...hope it does for you too!

For those that are experiencing the issue with the lines showing up, we had the same problem with our Windows PC, but when we printed the template from our Mac (using the same printer) the lines were no longer there.

    Hope this is helpful.

I'm having the same problem with the butterfly having lines. When I print out the butterfly page, there are lines crossing the middle. They don't show up when you just view the PDF, but they do once it's printed.

I'm hoping to start my own blog soon but
I'm a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid
option? There are so many options out there that I'm totally overwhelmed ..
    Any tips? Cheers!

Very cute! However - I printed these and there are lines that run from one wing to another, even through the printed words. It makes sort of a diamond shape in the body of the butterfly. The line is as light as the lines that you are supposed to use to cut on. Is there a fix to this?

    Thanks!
    Cori :)

When I first started printing these I had trouble with the lines going through the butterflies. I had to right click and save it and open it with a different program. I used Adobe Element but I'm guessing you could use paint or something else. Hopefully this helps!

Thanks so much for posting these ideas! My 1st grade daughter made the butterflies and my 4th grade son made the whirligigs. Perfect for both personalities! Thanks for the creativity -- we had a fun craft evening getting them all ready for school!
  51. Tuesday, February 10th, 2009
My 5 year old liked these butterflies, so we printed out a batch (his are lime green and sky blue, though :^). Thank you so much for posting them! But I'm having a really hard time getting the lollipop sticks through the slits! I wish we could find our missing hold punch, that would make it easier. I'm using heavyweight inkjet paper, which is similar in weight to store-bought valentines but a bear to deal with in this situation.
