Easy Crochet Flower Clip

Posted by  ·  July 28, 2011  ·  Last Updated: July 28, 2011

It only takes a few minutes and a few supplies to make a simple flower crochet clip. I used thin cotton crochet thread, a size 7 needle for the smaller flowers and a size 0/325mm for the larger, a hair clip, buttons (optional) and hot glue or needle and thread.

Crochet Flower Pattern

Chain 4, slip stitch in first stitch to make a ring. Working in ring, chain 2, dc, chain 2, slip stitch, makes one petal.  Repeat until you have 5 petals.

Hot glue or sew button to center of flower if you like. Hot glue flower to hair clip and you are done.

    Hi Cindy
I love your patterns so much I've put links to a few on Ravelry. Within an hour the heart garland one has been "favourited" five times. I'm not the only one loving them.

I made these flowers in Red, White and Blue and ended up using them on a wreath I made. If you would like pictures I can send/post them for ya. Thanks so much for the idea and lesson. Keep up the good work.

I don't wear hair clips so I made the flowers out of Red, White and Blue yarn and decorated a wreath. I've attached the link. Thanks for sharing the flower pattern.
