These DIY sand castle play figures are the perfect way to add even more fun to sand castle building! Making them is a great activity and they provide hours of summer fun! Keep busy this summer with these fun crafts and activities for kids!
Everything you need can be found at the craft store. We used wooden doll pegs, popsicle sticks, wooden shapes (for flags and doors), Elmer’s Wood Craft Glue and Elmer’s Painters Paint Markers
.
Get the doll pegs ready to come alive with the Elmer’s Painters !
These Elmer’s Painters are brilliant for children (and adults)! So easy to use and no mess!
We didn’t just stop with friends, we decided to make a dog and cat (see our final picture)!
Of course you need a flag! A “welcome” flag that is. We simply glued a popsicle stick to one of the wooded shapes. I love that if I had done this project with my boys it would have been a skull and cross bones or a fiery dragon!
For hours of outdoor fun you too will want to make your own beach friends!
I am proudly a member of the 2014 Elmer’s Craft it Crew. A big thank you Elmer’s for sponsoring this tutorial and helping me to provide content here. I only endorse products and brands that I believe in 100% and use in my day to day life! Elmer’s is one of those brands!
