I love that it doesn’t take many supplies for make this bag.  Once you learn the technique you will be printing on everything.  The WonderUnder stabilizes the fabric so it can go through the printer. It does make the fabric permanently stiff. However, in this application it gives the burlap weight thus giving the bag structure.  For lighter weight fabrics that you don’t want to be stiff you can iron Freezer Paper to the back of the fabric.

How to make a DIY printed burlap bottle bag

Following manufacturer directions,  iron WonderUnder to one side of the burlap. I find it easiest to cut the WonderUnder to 8 1/2″ X 14″. Leave the burlap slightly larger. Iron and then trim around the paper.

Trim to exactly 8 1/2 inches by 14 inches. It can not be larger than 8 1/2″ X 14″.

Download the “Making Spirits Bright” printable. Expand printing tray to  14 inches long. Place burlap into the paper tray. For my printer the burlap is facedown. Set paper size on printer to 8 1/2 X 14 “and print. Isn’t that amazing? It prints like butter! Think of all the things you can make!

Grab your other pice of burlap.  If you want the front and back to be the same weight, iron WonderUnder to your second piece of burlap.  I didn’t find it necessary.
