Crochet Bunny EOS Cover Supplies

  • Worsted weight yarn
  • H (5.00mm) crochet hook
  • G (4.25mm) crochet hook
  • Stitch marker
  • Small pom Pom for tail, and
  • Embroidery thread for face
  • Embroidery needle
  • Tapestry needle
  • Hot glue gun for tail or sewing needle and thread to attach

Crochet Bunny EOS Cover Pattern

Abbreviations key:
Ch: chain
Sl st: slip stitch
sc: single crochet
HDC: half double crochet
st mk: stitch marker

Bunny body

First, with H (5.00mm) hook Ch 4, join with sl st in 1st ch to create a circle, then ch 1. Place st mk and work 6 sc in circle.
Join with sl st in ch 1 with the st mk. (You can pull the shorter tail of yarn to tighten the loop).
Rnd 2: Ch 1, place st mk. 2 sc in each of the 6 sts in the round (12 sts). Join with sl st in ch 1 with st mk.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, place st mk. 1 Sc in next st *2sc in next st, then 1 sc in next st* repeat steps between * until the second to last st. Work 2
Sc in the last st (18 sts). Join with sl st in chain 1 with st mk.
Rnd 4: ch 1, place st mk. 1 sc in each st in the round (18 sts) sl st into ch 1.
Rnd 5:  ch 1, place st mk. 1 sc in each st in the round (18 sts) sl st into ch 1.
 
Rnd 6: ch 1, place st mk. *1 sc in the next 5 sts, 2 sc in the next st* repeat steps between * There will be 3 increases in this round (21sts). Join with sl st in ch 1. when making the sl st at the very end of row 6 switch hook to a G (4.25mm).
 
Rnd 7-10: ch 1, place st mk. 1 sc in each st in the round (18 sts). Join with sl st in ch 1. Finish off leaving a  tail to weave in. 
 

Bunny ears (make 2)

Ch 5, 1 HDC in 2nd st from hook. Work 1 HDC in the next 2 sts. Last st in ch work 3 HDC.
Now working on the other side of the ch, work 1 HDC in the next 3 sts (only picking up 1 loop of each st). Place a sl st in the end and finish off leaving a long tail (this is the bottom of the ear). Attach the bunny ear to the cover. Weave in any remaining yarn. 
 

Finishing touches

Now that you’ve finished the body and ears, take your embroidery thread and create a face, then glue or sew Pom Pom tail by hand to finish your beautiful Bunny EOS cover.

Don’t forget the cute bunny tail! Glue or stitch a pom pom on the lower back.
