Kids love mixing and making concoctions. What better than something they can really use! They will love to make their very own Coconut Lime Sugar Scrub. Sugar scrubs made with coconut oil are my new favorite. The best thing about this scrub is that it only uses FOUR ingredients, and it smells amazing. All you need is coconut oil, sugar, lime essential oil, and a lime to make the scrub. I adore that sugar scrubs are easy to make, package adorably and are good for your skin! Homemade scrubs make the best gifts. Other fun sugar scrubs to try are my Lemon Sugar Scrub and my Coffee Sugar Scrub!
This is one of the easiest sugar scrub recipes I’ve made. It’s also the least oily because it uses coconut oil rather than olive oil, smells incredible and is just plain fabulous. I love that sugar scrubs can be used on the hands, feet and body. I like to use sugar scrubs in the shower because they are such great exfoliators and the hot water dissolves the sugar crystals before they can be too abrasive.
Coconut Lime Sugar Scrub Recipe
Mix Together {this recipe makes about 1 1/4 cups prepared}
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup coconut oil (you do not need to melt the coconut oil)
- 4-5 drops of lime essential oil
- the zest of a lime

Once you’ve put the Coconut Lime Sugar Scrub in your jar (s), embellish them as you’d like and then print out the free tags found below to either put on the lid of the jar or use as a gift tag. To embellish my jars, I just wrapped a piece of bakers twine around the rim. The “Coconut Sugar Scrub” tag can be downloaded for free below! The sugar scrub was super easy to make and the whole project took me a total of 20 minutes including slapping on the printable! It’s THAT easy.
The Coconut Lime Sugar Scrub Label comes in two sizes. A smaller circle for a regular sized jar (I like to use a 4 oz. jar) or a larger circle for wide mouth jar.
