Big Game Day Snack Hacks
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Tyson Foods, Inc. All opinions are entirely my own.
Do you love to have friends over to watch the big game, but don’t like to spend all day in the kitchen? I have teamed up with Tyson® to share some easy snack food hacks for the big game. I was able to get everything I need from food to decorations to make a delicious and festive tabletop tailgate at Walmart.
Tabletop Tailgate Decorations
Make sure you get plenty of paper plates and napkins. I chose football shaped plates and team colors for napkins. I also found some football themed cups. Pick up a megaphone and stickers to make a fun centerpiece.
College font stickers decorate a plastic megaphone and make for an easy and fun centerpiece.
Big Game Day Food Ideas
I am looking forward to wowing my friends and family for this season’s Big Game Day with some clever snack hacks. These snacks hacks are so easy but hearty and will help my guests last through the entire game and keep up their energy.
Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips with a spicy dipping bar are easy and delicious. You can easily buy your favorite barbecue and other sauces, but I like to make something extra delicious by mixing equal parts mayonnaise and barbecue sauce. It tastes similar to Red Robin’s Campfire sauce. Another one of our favorite dipping sauces is Sriracha Mayonnaise. Mix just enough Sriracha into mayonnaise until it has the spiciness of your liking.
Hillshire Farm® Lit’l Smokies® are always another crowd pleaser – delicious on their own or put them in a crock pot with grape jelly or your favorite barbecue or chili sauce.
You can also roll Hillshire Farm Lit’l Smokies in biscuit dough with mozzarella cheese, stack and bake golden in a loaf pan for a fun and easy pull-apart snack. Serve with pizza sauce and ranch-style dressing to create a unique fresh from the oven pizza experience.
Kick your cheese dip up a notch by adding in browned Jimmy Dean® Roll Sausage. This addition ups the protein and flavor. My recipe is simple; 2 cans of diced tomatoes and green chilies, 1 – 2 pound pasteurized prepared cheese loaf. Melt the cheese, and add in the tomatoes. Fold in the brown sausage and serve with tortilla chips.
These convenient and easy to prepare food will impress your guests with a full tabletop tailgate spread. Find all these snacks in the frozen food aisle of your local Walmart. All of these ideas are going to make your party a game winner!
