American Flag Coloring Page
Do you know what each element of the flag represents? Let’s refresh your memory, I bet you know!
The stars represent the 50 states of the Union. The stripes represent the original 13 colonies. Moving on to the colors, each of those have a meaning, too.
The red stripes stand for hardiness and valor. The white stripes represent purity and innocence and the blue stands for vigilance, perseverance, and justice.
Windblown Flag on the Flagpole
As you color your flag, remember to start and end with red stripes and you will have the correct pattern. You could cut out the colored flag, glue a small wooden dowel on the back of the pole and have your own flag to stick into the ground! Make several to line your sidewalk!
