Margherita Naan Bread Pizza by Whats Cooking with Ruthie
Hi all the friends of Skip to my Lou, it’s Ruthie from Whats Cooking with Ruthie and I’m so happy to be back to share a quick and easy pizza recipe with all of you!
Can you all believe how fast the summer is flying by? The kids start back to school next week and I can hardly believe it!
Margherita Naan Bread Pizza
6 pieces naan bread
1 (8oz) jar pizza sauce
4 roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
1/2 C fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced
2 C shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven 375 degrees. Place naan bread on pizza pan (for 2 at a time use a baking sheet) top with 2 Tbsp pizza sauce, sprinkle 2 Tbsp cheese, place tomato slices evenly on top, sprinkle with basil, top with 1 Tbsp cheese. Bake 7-8 minutes until cheese is lightly browned. Garnish with additional basil and serve.
*to make a kid-friendly pizza just replace tomatoes and basil with pepperoni 🙂
